Happy New Year!

Looking back on 2023, for me it was a good year in terms of the number of exhibitions, new paintings with new horizons, (even if they were shifting ones!) 2024 looks like being even better. The first good thing to happen was having my whole family here for New Year, getting the new year off to a great start with family from America and London all together.

The next good thing was being accepted into the Lincolnshire Artists Society, which I am particularly thrilled about. LAS is a prestigious society, established over a hundred years ago.

Some of my recent paintings have been based on the idea of shifting horizons, (see my news post from May 2023), where I talk about my exhibition and the possibility of ones horizons changing in life. Already in 2024 my horizons are altered. In the next month or so I, along with nine other artists, will be opening an art gallery and shop where we will be showing work from other artists as well as our own, providing space for workshops and selling gifts and cards related to our work. Our name is Indigo Crow, watch out for further new posts!
