Depths of Darkness

Sometimes it feels like we are under some kind of dark spell, the rain in the UK seems to be never ending this summer, while wild fires are out of control in the Mediterranean and America with unprecedented temperatures globally. Except here of course.

When we at Creative Lincs planned our next exhibition, we had no idea that this was about to happen. We had already had two exhibitions which focussed on bright and cheerful colours, Vivid and Vivid 2 and one which was all about Spring, looking forward to a lovely summer (!) So we thought it would be good idea to do something entirely different, and “Depths of Darkness” was born.

26 artists have submitted 2 works of art which are either dark in colour, or dark in subject matter. It will be fun, not at all dark and gloomy! It would be great to see you there. One of my exhibits (pictured) is entitled “Lights in the Valley”. The Gallery at Saint Martin’s, Lincoln, is the venue for this exhibition. LN1 1ET

One good thing about this wet weather is that I am getting lots of painting and admin done. Water cum Jollydale is finally finished and framed and will shortly be available to purchase.
