Breakthrough!

“Breakthrough” is the title of my current exhibition at the Indigo Crow Gallery in Lincoln. The exhibition runs from 23rd July to 4th August. I have 36 original paintings, about half of them new ones, and some new prints. The original Breakthrough painting was sold in April, but there are others on a similar theme, a glimmer of sun breaking out of a darker sky. The one pictured here is called “English Summer”. Whether you choose to believe that sun is coming out , or it is going to rain is up to you! I guess it’s a glass half full or half empty situation. Whatever, everywhere is very green, we have had so much rain this year it is hardly surprising..

I am in the gallery, chatting to visitors, talking about my paintings on 24th, 25th 28th July and 1st, 2nd and 4th August. It is always a pleasure to chat to people, no purchase necessary.

This morning I was talking to a customer about why I started selling my work. It was never my intention to do so, it happened because I had so many paintings, there was no room in the house for them all. I can’t stop painting, so something had to give!

All of these new paintings will be appearing on the website after the exhibition has finished.
